Bindu & Nada The alchemy

Bindu is not a dot. It is the Gateway to the Infinite.

The word Bindu in Sanskrit means point, seed, drop. It is not a mere “dot” — it is the primordial origin point from which all energies arise and to which they return.

On the level of the energetic body, it corresponds to Bindu Visarga, located near the occipital bone (back of the head), the point where spiritual light is said to descend into the body.

Bindu Visarga – The Spiritual Opening in the Skull

In awakened states, Bindu produces Amrita — a kind of “nectar” that:

  • Cools the vital organs (serving as an antidote to the fiery energy of Kundalini)

  • Regenerates cells, slowing down or even reversing decay

  • Unlocks siddhis — supernatural abilities (e.g., intuition, teleportation, healing insight)

In both Hindu and Taoist traditions, the uncontrolled fall of Amrita into the lower body results in energy loss. On the other hand, its ascent transforms it into light, wisdom, and power.

Bindu + Nada: The Inner Alchemy

Nāda = the subtle cosmic sound. It is not an external sound, but the vibration of creation itself — as described in the concept of Shabda Brahman (Sound as God).

When Bindu (form) unites with Nāda (vibration):

The womb of light is born — the space-non-space from which all is created.

This inner space:

  • Dissolves thought — the mind falls silent

  • Transforms sound into space — as if sound “unfolds” into pure dimensionality

  • Space becomes pure awareness — without object, without observed

  • Awareness becomes identity — You are not observing. You are the observation itself.

You Are the Bindu

Bindu is the mirror that reflects nothing — because it is You.

In the highest meditative state, there is no separation between:

  • Sound and Silence

  • Form and Emptiness

Bindu and Nada are the yogic yin-yang:

  • Bindu = the feminine gateway

  • Nada = the masculine vibration

When they merge, they give birth to inner light — not as a phenomenon, but as a transformation of your very ontological state.

This point — the Bindu — does not belong to the body.It belongs to consciousness.

It is where identification with thought endsand recognition of true identity begins.
